How do your practices influence your passions? Alison wants us all to be explorers in this life-long journey. Her own adventure with yoga began with an Iyengar practice in New York City in 2004. Since joining the Denver yoga teaching community in 2011, Alison has spent countless hours exploring different styles of this life-changing practice in her own body to allow for the most authentic expression of teaching in order to inform her students’ practices. With a background in competitive kickboxing and a love of bouldering, she understands the courage we ask of ourselves when venturing to explore a new physical challenge. And with levity, she invites each of us to test the boundaries of what we believe possible. Come practice and unveil the next layer of your own self!
Amy began practicing yoga in 2011 and has been teaching since 2015 when she completed her training in India and Nepal. Her classes are challenging yet lighthearted, and they focus on subtle alignment and creative transitions. She enjoys expanding students' awareness of the world of yoga beyond asana, including mantra, meditation, and breath control. As tools that enrich the present moment both on and off the mat, Amy encourages her students to connect with these and all aspects of practicing yoga.
Being in the body, the mind and in emotional presence without relenting to the desire to escape challenging feelings brings growth. In committing to this process, Annette has found relief from physical and emotional pain and has gained more connection to self, others and her beloved activities. She began sharing her love of movement in 1996 with a degree in kinesiology. And her years as an avid outdoor enthusiast furthered this desire to help others find joy in movement. For 20 years she has worked as a corporate health manager, a trainer and an exercise physiologist for ortho and cancer patients. She has focused on improving quality of movement and tending to all aspects of the human experience. Her yoga study began in 2009 with Anusara. What has grown from this study of east/west is the marrying of biomechanics, yoga and somatics to create a unique tension release and empowerment program called MoYo Movement.
Annie was first drawn to yoga through her years living as a climbing bum in the American West during the mid ‘90s. She was attracted to the physical challenge of a strong asana practice and mentally challenged by the inward nature of yoga. Through the practice of yoga, Annie has been able to overcome the mental and emotional challenges presented in climbing, yoga and life. She is now a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher [CIYT] and Certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists [C-IAYT]. She has been teaching yoga for roughly 10 years and continues to study and work with students aspiring to certify in the Iyengar tradition. Annie’s teaching is full of cues which assist in leading one deeper into the poses and to a meditative state. In class she explores the connection between body, mind and breath and works with gross and subtle movement to subdue the mind. Off the mat, Annie enjoys being outside exploring rivers, rocks and canyons. She is an avid telemark skier, whitewater rafter and enjoys a good climb!
Ashlyn is a seeker of freedom, healing, adventure, and travel. As a committed student of life, always open to learning, Ashlyn is fascinated by the ever-changing practice of yoga and taking what she learns in her own practice to guide others to live fully and wholeheartedly.
Drawing her inspiration from her students, Ashlyn empowers her students by supporting their needs and encouraging them to grow and step out of their comfort zone on and off the mat. Her classes can be described as a moving meditation offering inspirational moments of mindfulness and self-awareness. Students can expect a light-hearted, yet challenging flow with creative sequencing and theming. With years of experience, Ashlyn leads teacher trainings, workshops, and destination retreats. In addition to her vinyasa teachings, Ashlyn has been drawn to the practice of Yoga Nidra. She is known for guiding her student through a profound, healing experience.
Elan often prefers balancing on her hands to standing on her feet. She discovered yoga in 2010, completed her 200-hour certification in 2012, and has over 2,500 hours of teaching experience. She loves the simplicity of the yoga practice and that it allows us to cultivate tools that we are able to take off the mat. How we do anything is how we do everything, and the yoga practice offers insight into how we show up in both the challenging and easy moments. She is passionate about the Vinyasa and Yin styles of yoga and enjoys the balance between the two. She loves to share a playful, dynamic, and creative flow through Vinyasa Yoga and appreciates the opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and create space through Yin Yoga.

Jamie Law is a Brooklyn, NY native and found yoga over 10 years ago. Yoga has been a constant reminder to stay present, open and breathe through every moment that life presents. Her classes are a creative Vinyasa Flow and the physical practice travels up the seven Chakras throughout. She includes chanting, poetry, and mudras to help set the theme and present students with a point of focus. Jamie approaches each class with a sense of playfulness so that every moment can be an opportunity for self-exploration and joy. She received her 200-hr certification from Laughing Lotus, NY. She then received her 50-hr advanced certification in Bhakti Yoga, 50-hr advanced certification in Super Sequencing and 25-hr advanced certification in Restorative Yoga, all from Laughing Lotus, NY. She is excited to continue towards her 500-hr certification this year.
Jamie began practicing Yoga in 2011 while dealing with a spinal injury left over from many years of competitive gymnastics. It was clear early on that the benefits went beyond the merely physical. That's when she decided to devote herself not only to daily Asana practice, but also the philosophy behind the ancient tradition. Although Jamie completed her 200 hr Vinyasa certificate in 2014, this was just the beginning of her yoga education. She moved to North Carolina, where she developed a disciplined Ashtanga practice under authorized teacher Larry Hobbs, and traveled to India to study intensively under the guidance of Guru Sharath Jois. Now back in the States, Jamie is based out of Boulder, CO, where she continues to study under Amy Ippoliti. In her teaching, Jamie combines Amy's Anusara alignment principles, the discipline of Ashtanga, and Yogic philosophy into a fun, engaging, and informative experience.
Kali grew up playing ice hockey and, due the high impact of the sport, sustained a significant knee injury. After a friend suggested yoga as a means for rehabilitation, she found that it encompassed what she was searching for spiritually, mentally, and physically. An effervescent dreamer rooted in reality, yoga provided her with a community based on love and zero judgment—a place to truly be free. The practice has amplified her joy, love, and self-confidence. Becoming a certified yogi has been one of the most fulfilling achievements of her life, and she aims to share that with her participants.

Alex is a yoga and meditation instructor who was first introduced to yoga 10 years ago. Alex is also a rock climber and has climbed in multiple countries and focuses his classes on the needs of climbers. Alex first got into yoga to gain more flexibility in his Ju-jitsu and mixed martial arts training. It was soon apparent that yoga was much more than flexibility training.
After living in Thailand for 2 years and traveling around south east Asia, Alex fell in love with the study of spirituality and meditation and wanted to look deeper within yoga to find these. He took a 4-month trip to India where he got hit 300-hour training in Rishikesh India, the birthplace of yoga. Here he learned a much deeper level of anatomy, theory, and philosophy within yoga. He then received meditation instructor training at the ancient Ved Niketan Dham ashram, also in Rishikesh. Since returning from India, he’s taught yoga and meditation in studios and facilities working with abused children and therapeutic groups. Alex brings a positive energy, an encouraging attitude, and a desire to teach some of the deeper aspects of yoga with his practice. Namaste.
Brittany began her journey with yoga in 2012 after her first yoga class in Austin, TX. Since then, she has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, yoga anatomy training with Leslie Kaminoff and various workshops that have given shape to how she now leads her classes. She loves to teach climbers and newcomers the foundations of yoga through asana, pranayama, and philosophy. You can expect to be challenged and sweetly held in a safe container of self-expression. With inhalation and exhalation being the focal point of practice, you will be guided through longer position holds, which will challenge the body, mind and breath to slow down. You’ll have a conscious, full-body experience of being in the present moment. When she's not teaching, you can find Brittany in the bouldering gym, on a slackline, in the kitchen whipping up dank food or behind the turntables DJing for various movement and art events. Follow her journey through yoga, music, food and travel on Instagram @brittanydoeslife
