SUMMER SMACKDOWN BOULDER SERIES

COMPETITION | May 26 - July 15
COMP Finals & Member’s Party | July 18 @ 6:30 pm

WHAT IS IT?
Over the course of 7 weeks,(May 26th-July 15th) the entire bouldering cave will gradually be set, section by section. As each section is set, the problems in that section will receive a grade, section ID, and a point value. Competitors will climb as many comp problems as they can until July 15th. There will be prizes for the top 3 competitors in each category. There will be an on-sight Finals for the top 6 male and female competitors at our Member’s party!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once you sign up you will get a score card which will be stored behind the front desk. Each time you come in you will get your scorecard and climb as many comp problems as you can. You must get initials from 2 peers or 1 ET staff person to get credit for a climb. When you are done climbing, you will turn your scorecard back in to the front desk. We will periodically post standings throughout the 7 week period.

WHY COMPETE?
First, anyone who competes gets a rad ET logo camping mug! Second, this is a great first comp format if you’ve never competed before. Third, you get a chance to win some sweet prizes! Fourth, why not? It’s gonna be awesome! Register at the Earth Treks Timonium front desk!
