Family Introduction to Climbing (Ages 6 and Up and Adults)
Earth Treks is excited to offer a course where both kids and adults can learn and climb together. During this program, the kids will climb with one of our instructors while the adults climb and learn the necessary skills to belay. After the adults have learned the basic safety skills, everyone climbs together. The course is designed for adults that are interested in getting their children involved in climbing and wish to help them with their journey. No experience is necessary.

Junior Climbing Club (Ages 6-9)
A 4-week after school program that offers a fun-filled, educational climbing experience. Climbing’s inherent qualities develop self-esteem, build social skills, and improve kinesthetic development. Our enthusiastic instructors will stress safety skills and teamwork. Your child will learn how to put on a harness and tie in properly. Participants will play lots of games and of course climb, climb, climb… This course is a great starting point for younger climbers and the open ended curriculum will keep your kid tied up session after session.

Ages: 6-9
Sessions: Runs from September through May. Tuesday sessions begin the first Tuesday of each month and run 4 weeks. Sunday sessions begin the Sunday after the first Tuesday of each month and run 4 weeks. Depending on holidays, Jr Club may not be offered in December. Register separately for each month.

Recreational Climbing Club (Ages 9-13)
Rec Club is an ongoing, month-to-month non-competitive “team” for young climbers aged 9-13. Your child will build upon the knowledge gained in Junior Club, Friday Nite Rox or other introductory climbing experiences. Your child’s development includes the technical skills of belaying and tying into the rope, as well as movement, problem solving, and social skills needed in top rope climbing and bouldering.
Monthly Price: $95 non-members / $65 members, billed automatically each month, plus one-time $25 start-up fee

Prerequisites: Junior Climbing Club , Summer Camp, Friday Nite Rox, or equivalent experience.
Sessions: Tuesdays 4-6p, Wednesdays 4-6p, Sundays 3-5p
Season Begins: week of Labor Day
Season Ends: end of May
Registration: Opens August 16th at 10am for September and continues on a rolling basis as spaces become available. As of August 16, you may request to register for your preferred Rec Club timeslot. If space is not available, we will add your child to the waitlist for that session and contact you when a spot opens. "Request to Register" form will be available below as of August 16th at 10am.
Format: Rec Club is offered in an ongoing, month-to-month format that runs from September through May. Once in the program, your child’s enrollment and payment will proceed automatically on a month-to-month basis until you cancel (see cancellation request form below) or they age out (we will automatically remove participants at the end of the month in which they turn 14). Each August, the participants from the previous spring receive priority registration for the same time slot that fall. Any spots left open will be filled from the waitlist.
Payment: Rec Club dues are paid automatically via credit card on the first of each month. Rec Club dues renew automatically on a month to month basis, but you can cancel via the cancellation request form below, submitting it at least ten days prior to the applicable billing date (1st of the month). Earth Treks Rec Clubs are very popular and in order to make space for climbers waiting to participate, we will not be able to offer the option to freeze Rec Club participation. Participants will be automatically removed at the end of the month in which they turn 14.
