West Virginia Roadtrip

Earth Treks’ West Virginia Roadtrip is a great weekend adventure for developing outdoor climbers and indoor climbers who are ready to get on the real thing. The course is the perfect combination of our Intermediate Rock Climbing and Top Rope Systems 1 classes. Under the watchful eye of Earth Treks instructors, you will get plenty of opportunities to set top rope anchors and then climb on your own setups.

The high friction boulders and cliffs of Coopers Rock offer a unique and aesthetic setting for learning outdoor movement skills and top rope anchoring techniques. At the conclusion of the weekend, climbers will have the skills necessary to climb independently outdoors as well as the background to take the next step into more technical climbing. Belay skills are a prerequisite.

**Participants provide their own transportation to Cooper’s Rock and most camp at one of the local campgrounds there.**
